I'm so stoked to be participating in ArtPrize 2014!
here is my link to my ArtPrize profile! My entry of Jefferson's Talent is a series of watercolor paintings I did in the past 4 months. It originated from a a fun story or three animals that was an idea I shared with an old friend of mine. Then I turned it into a digital illustration. A year later I came across the digital illustration and decided to create a traditional watercolor illustration of Jefferson and his friends. Jefferson is all about this prideful ostrich who has a talent of spinning plates. His friends, Howard the cow and Sally the salamander, are not impressed because Jefferson just likes to show off. So Jefferson leaves his friends to go to the circus where he thinks that his talent will be appreciated. But Jefferson soon finds out, after he meets three circus animals who have the same prideful attitude as him, that he treated his friends poorly. So Jefferson packs up his things and leaves the circus disappointed. Believing that Jefferson's friends wouldn't forgive him, Jefferson returns home. But comes to find out that Howard and Sally are thrilled to see their tall spunky friend! And Jefferson teaches his friends his talent of spinning plates and they all live happily ever after! I hope to see you there at ArtPrize 2014! ~Peace
