Elizabeth Donoghue

Elizabeth Donoghue is the artist of Liz Craft Illustrations. Craft is Liz's maiden name and currently uses it to sign her artwork. In 2015, she graduated from College For Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan with a B.F.A in Illustration and Art Education. Liz has been a K-12 art instructor over the past 5 years. She is now working towards being a full-time illustrator, focusing on developing her skills as an artist in painting and other mediums.
Liz has illustrated, Science With Scarlett: What Color Will It Be? by Gary Abud Jr. with a second book in the works! She has worked with Gary Abud to develop Scarlett and her assistant, Mr. Bear. For three years, Liz has participated in Artprize, the world's largest art competition that is held every other year in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has displayed her artwork at The Black Box Gallery in Dearborn, Michigan for a special art teacher and student exhibit.
Liz currently lives in Detroit, Michigan with her husband and son. She is a new mom and hopes to bring the love of art into her new baby's life. She enjoys being in nature and swimming in Lake Michigan.
Liz's goal is to illustrate children's books and work with companies to license her artwork, so others can enjoy what she is passionate about. She enjoys working with 3D mediums such as, clay, fiber, and sewing and hopes to discover new ways to enhance her illustrations. Liz always excited to learn something new and ways to grow as an artist.
